The 22nd was Sunday! Julia and I were asked the day before to do a musical number in sacrament meeting so we walked into Relief Society a few minutes late (Julia wanted to warm up), but it didn't really matter anyways, since we can't actually understand what they're talking about.
I think we managed to figure out that the lesson was about a general conference talk.
Our church experience was wonderful.
I could still feel the same spirit during sacrament meeting, and everyone loved our musical number. I really appreciated it when everyone came to us afterwards and told us that our musical number really brought the spirit into the meeting. Sometimes I get caught up on just the technical aspects of the music, so I love it when people let me know how they felt about a musical number.
This is the Karl Marx hof. Apparently, it was designed by a pupil of Otto Wagner.
After a quick walk through the grounds, we gravitated towards the Volksgarten, and then the beautiful Rathaus.
I'm sorry that there are so many pictures. Trust me, this is only like a third of all the pictures we took.
Afterwards, we saw a church in the distance, so we walked over there.
A cool table in the Sigmund Freud park, right by the Votivkirche.
After our adventure we had no idea where we were, but we wandered a bit a found a U-Bahn stop, and we just hopped on!
Ich liebe die U-Bahn. Yup.
More for later!
